OK. I don't believe I am going crazy. I shot no less than 3 videos today with my 3GS. I toggled to the video camera, I pressed the record button and then I pressed the stop button.

I come home to sync my iPhone 3GS, and no videos are to be found. I tapped camera, tapped on the photo in the bottom left and I get "No Photos or Videos".

I know I must be doing something wrong; I just don't know what.

Thanks.

In order to get to the videos and pictures taken with your 3GS you dont have to sync.
Just go into my computer and get into the iphone this way. There you should have all your pics and videos displayed. Then you can copy/paste them.

That's weird, are you sure you didn't delete it without thinking? Try recording a longer video...

I just recorded a 10 second video (the others were 30 seconds or more) and it is there right after I shoot it.

Here is a question:

I also took some photos today. When I docked my 3GS, iPhoto automatically comes up and I imported the photos to iPhoto. After importing, iPhoto asks me if I want to delete the photos from the iPhone. I said yes.

Does deleting the photos after importing to iPhoto also delete the video??

Otherwise, I still am perplexed.

Yes, it probably will delete everything.

Yes.

The videos are in iPhoto.

Yes.

The videos are in iPhoto.

You are right. Damn. They are in the import into iPhoto. It is subtle for the first time -- it looks like a picture but now I see a small "Movie" label under the photo. Easily missed (well, at least for me  ).

Well now I know what to look for.

Thank you.

iPhoto is deleting your content. Check your options. If that doesn't work (which it will) then restore your iPhone.

Good night (for me)
