There are no 3rd party watch faces, but there is now an ability for apps to ‘create‘ watch faces. It just uses the standard Apple Watch faces, but an app developer can build a face with complications from their app and make that watch face available within their app. It‘s nothing that you couldn’t build on your own using one of the standard faces and the app’s complications, but it can make it easy for third party developers to showcase their complications, I guess. It’s basically watch face sharing from within an app.
BuddyWatch can also build watch faces for you. You pick from a gallery and if the face contains complications from apps not currently installed, it prompts you and installs from within the app. Pretty seemless.
there absolutely are not. the only thing you can be thinking about is you can have unique complications from 3rd party apps added to built in watch faces. the bottom line is the only underlying faces that exist are the ones made by apple and are already available on your watch although you can usually add 3rd party complications to them.
that isn’t really a 3rd party watchface, it’s a full up app that shows a clock. there are no 3rd party watchfaces.
