Please stop opening apps when I restart! dang...

I used to feel very comforted knowing that if my Mac was overloaded with too many apps running at once, I could simply restart and I would be back at square one.

Now with Lion it appears that upon a restart, all of the apps that were open when I shut down REOPEN!

I'm sure there is a preference to stop this behavior, but my google search has been unfruitful. Any advice?

Go to Restart, and uncheck Reopen windows when logging back in. That should do it.
