Please tell me apple didn't remove the track forward feature

I popped in one of my DVD backup disks to grab some music from my disk library and I go into preview for the first time in Leo (Never tried this before on Leo).

As you know on tiger we had the slider so we could track through the song to whatever point we wanted, now it seems as all we have is a box with start and stop? I cannot track through my songs anymore to preview whatever point I want? I have to sit there and wait for the whole song to play? What is that??

Don't tell me to do it in coverflow, I cannot access all the folders that way without a maze of backing up to get out of them only to go to the other one. Am I missing something that might bring back this feature or are we boned on this one?

As much as I hate that, it works.

Not a fan of the new feature. Used to be simple just to hit the slide bar.
