So if the screen turns off or the lid closes, the Macbook Air should be in sleep, and when the screen turns off or the lid closes with the power adapter connected also with the Prevent Macbook to Automatically Go to Sleep When the Screen Turns Off option on which means that only the Macbook Air will be on and not the screen? Also, can you still have your own profile picture for the latest update?

If you are on AC power and have that box checked only the display will shut off and the computer will stay awake if the lid is open. But no matter how you check that box, when you close the lid the computer goes to sleep.
