Hi guys, my lcd quit working pretty much in that i've got like every other light functioning. No physical damage. It looks like flood lamps lighting up my screen from the bottom.
Is it the inverter or the bulb? If it's the inverter, I'm willing to pay for it. Apple wants $310 to replace the screen.

I have the santa rosa, 2.2 ghz core 2 duo, 800 mh fsb processor, LED 1440x900 screen. Are all the inverters on ebay the same?

Thanks!

Someone was saying the LED technology does not use inverters.

I don't know for sure but you would probably need a new LCD screen.

Cheers,
