Apps Plex - slow picture loading

Im using Plex server on my Synology DS215j (2x armv7@ 800Mhz with 512mb ram).

Streaming videos is working fine but i added a bunch of pictures and it sometimes i have to wait like 10 seconds before they show up on the TV.

Anyone else have this issue? Im all cabled up with Gigabit Ethernet and the ATV is using a wired connection, too.

Is this a common problem?

No, I don't remember where, but I've defined the time between the transitions, I can check at home.

Are you running 1080p movies with quality ? I'm facing that problem, my mkv 1080p movies from Synology are showing with lower quality, I don't know if its a speed problem or Plex doesn't support 1080p
