Plex stuttering on external screen with Lion

Hi

I am using Plex when watching 1080p on my TV with a DP-HDMI connection to my Macbook Air 2010. Plex used to be the only video player that could handle HD movies on an external screen without stuttering (supposedly due to hardware acceleration). Works fine just playing locally on the MBA.

Now, with Lion, it is stuttering big time. Anyone else experiencing this with their MBA's and Lion?

Plex stuttering

I have the same issue here, but on a mac mini 2.4ghz 8Gb OSX 2.7.
On Snow Leopard everything worked fine under Plex, even .dvdmedia images.
Now almost everything stutters, except when i play true HD (blu ray rips) or when playing the .dvdmedia (or Video_ts folders) via DVD-player.
Nobody knows the trouble i've seen. Nobody knows my sorrow...............
