I am on an iBook G4, 10.4.9, and For some time now I have been booting up and seeing the terminal instead of the pretty gray screen with the apple and the spinning wheel underneath it. I have also noticed that it says no plist was returned for a few things. Can someone teach me what that is and what it means? Is it good, bad, or doesn't really matter? This occurance has been going on for some time now, even after I have upgraded from 10.4.7-10.4.9, so reinstalling really isn't in the cards for fixing the issue.
