All my music is stored on my back up HD, backed up with Time Machine. I cant alter any of the files on it. Im trying to move my music to a new drive and I get tis message. This is the exact message I get “You can’t copy “Empire burlesque” because it has the same name as another item on the destination volume, and that volume doesn’t distinguish between upper- and lowercase letters in filenames.”. But it won't allow me to make any changes and just stops at the point of getting this message.

is the destination drive empty or not? It seems your TIM partition is formatted with Case-Sensitive option set. But the error indicates the destination is not empty. Need more detail..
