iPhone PLS i lost ALL Data

i was updating software to 6.1.2 and made a backup 5gb. after that when i boot my iphone and go to backup from pc i got eror msg: cannot restore bla bla because the backup session failed :SSSSSSS

pls help me im in trouble

Has your phone been automatically updating to iCloud when on wifi and plugged-in? If so try restoring from there

I feel your pain. I can't remember the last time I was able to successfully restore from an iTunes backup on my PC.
Since iOS 5.1 I have always had to restore from my iCloud backup. Not ideal as I then have to reinstall all my non-Apple content, and all the apps are reinstalled via my internet connection, which takes hours.

Is this happening extremely often this time (iOS 6.1.2)
I have already read a few of these 'I lost everything' threads after the update.
Never before tho.

Hopefully you have a back up from iCloud. 5GB sounds like that would be a large back up.

There are so many users reporting this, I really hope they will fix this.
