Hi All,

Has anyone else noticed when you plug your iPhone 5 in to charge that you lose one or two bars? The change isn't always immediate and can sometimes take 2-5 seconds to change but i've confirmed that this happens with strong and weak signal. Is this normal? My only guess as to what could be happening is that the metal on the charger is acting as a conductor and the "separated antennas" are joined causing a drop in reception (but thats a big guess).

While in a place with strong signal its not a big of a problem but obviously if your in a weak signal area one or two bars can mean a lot.

I have the 32gb White iPhone 5 (if that makes any difference?)

On a somewhat related note, I've noticed that when holding the phone you also seem to lose one bar (not a true death grip) but is this normal?

Thanks everyone.
