Plugin needed to stream XM Radio?

Being a week old to the Mac world, one of my problems is understanding how best to determine if an application is windows and Mac or just Windows.

I went to stream XM radio vis my MBP and it stated plug in needed. A search reveled a few different options.

What is the best way to determine the correct plugin? XM?
