Hi there everyone. I have a newly formatted MacBook Pro (10.5.4) that I recently just installed Aperture 2.0 onto. I ran Aperture once, then quit. Then I ran Software Update and found 3 updates:
Aperture 2.1
Pro Applications Update
PlugInManager 1.7.3
The first two installed fine, but the third (PlugInManager 1.7.3) gave me an error saying something to the effect of "There was an unexpected error. The package has been moved to the Trash. To re-install find the package using Finder."
Then Software Update gave me a warning saying an error occurred and brought me back to the "choose your updates" screen with green checkmarks by the first two, and a red exclamation point by the third. I then hit "Install 1 item" at the bottom of the screen and the update installed successfully.
What is that all about? Known issue? Did it "damage" my computer/files in any way? I'm not very familiar with how installs and file structures work. Any ideas/suggestions/concerns?
Thanks,
Keith
