I have a mac os x tiger system and im having problems, upon start up the log in, and it just just has a blue screen, im not sure wat to do so if anyone knows plz share

I'd start by following Apple's instructions here. I hope that does it for you. If not, post back and let us know what you tried and what happened.

Have you tried to archieve and install and see if that solves the problem? It will save all your data and give you a fresh install of tiger.

now i have a problem with the macs start up it loads for about 15 secs then brings me to a page wit some code on it

First, what did you do to get it to get past the blue screen. Second, what does the code say?
