PMS - Not the female kind

I have PMS (Plex Media Server) setup on an iMac under my login. If I login and start the application it works perfect.

Problem is this is on my parents iMac and if they want to use Plex without me there it requires me to be left logged in (although I can switch users but stay active).

Ideally I would like PMS to run immediately without anyone logged in, is this possible?

Go search the Plex forums. They have some articles there on how to accomplish this. I haven't tried it myself as I run PMS on a linux server.

Yeah, I did, all seems like a sucky way of doing things, custom user that then autoboots and autostarts plex...

Might have to do it like that until I but a reasonable NAS.

I just wondered if anyone had a neater solution.
