I have issues with iPhone pocket dialing 911. At least I used to with early iPhone. Basically if you hit the power button in your pocket since the camera can’t detect your face it goes to the keypad lock screen which has emergency in the corner. So it doesn’t take much to pocket dial 911 if you happen to have your hand in your pocket it triggers the emergency call. To prevent this I have bought folio cases that cover the screen so if the power button is accidentally hit there is no way to accidentally touch the screen And call 911. My question is how to people prevent this without a case that covers the screen. I did disable the auto dial feature so simply pressing the power doesn’t activate it but emergency is still accessible on the pin screen. Is it possible to have a iPhone update that allows us to change the number it dials from 911 to a family member instead. I’d rather pocket dial a family member then 911.
