What will happen with the jailbreaks will be dead ??
What will happen with the jailbreaks will be dead ??
I started with iOS and the first iPod touch, then went with android for years (my carrier didnt carry iPhone then). I can say that Android is very rough, but allows much much more freedom to devs.
I just HATE how all of those super charged phones feel so unfinished...Android always feels like its off to a great start, but never gets finished.
I'll still be using my iPhone 5 for a while (JB'en on iOS 6, we'll see if I move to iOS 7 when/if it gets JB depending on how much 3rd party devs update to be compatible, and battery life and such) but this too might be my last iPhone after having and modifying all generations.
iOS 7 = FlatIcons but ugly+WP7+Android+JB all balled into one.
Firing Forestall might have been a bad idea. I think they need to look to the top at Mr. Cook.
Woz should have been on board as a mediator between Ive's vision and Forestall's considering this is previously unexplored territory for Ive. He's a hardware designer, not a UI visionary. That's like hiring your carpenter to do your plumbing.
And fundamental disagreements aren't always bad for innovation. Steve seemed to disagree and then submit eventually on many polarized topics. Forestall is the scapegoat for Cook's sloppiness.
I think it's safe to say, Jobs would not have approved.
I'll be sticking with iOS 6 for a while as of now, and iTunes 10.7 indefinitely (11 is too clunky for a large collection of music)
And Mavericks as a name? Come on!
i will be boycotting all advices with iOS 7. i will get my next iPhone, the iPhone 6 (iPhone 2014) with iOS 8, and only buy when a jailbreak is out
This is a decent motto, except iOS 8 will prolly be similar to iOS 7 :/
"iOS 7 design is awful, its slow, battery life time is the worst ever, its full of UI bugs and crashes.
Who cares? What will happen with the jailbreaks will be dead ??
