"iOS 7 design is awful, it’s slow, battery life time is the worst ever, it’s full of UI bugs and crashes.

Well, he'll never encounter these things on Android. Not at all.

I'll still be using my iPhone 5 for a while (JB'en on iOS 6, we'll see if I move to iOS 7 when/if it gets JB depending on how much 3rd party devs update to be compatible, and battery life and such) but this too might be my last iPhone after having and modifying all generations.

iOS 7 = FlatIcons but ugly+WP7+Android+JB all balled into one.

Firing Forestall might have been a bad idea. I think they need to look to the top at Mr. Cook.

Woz should have been on board as a mediator between Ive's vision and Forestall's considering this is previously unexplored territory for Ive. He's a hardware designer, not a UI visionary. That's like hiring your carpenter to do your plumbing.

And fundamental disagreements aren't always bad for innovation. Steve seemed to disagree and then submit eventually on many polarized topics. Forestall is the scapegoat for Cook's sloppiness.

I think it's safe to say, Jobs would not have approved.

I'll be sticking with iOS 6 for a while as of now, and iTunes 10.7 indefinitely (11 is too clunky for a large collection of music)

And Mavericks as a name? Come on!

I started with iOS and the first iPod touch, then went with android for years (my carrier didnt carry iPhone then). I can say that Android is very rough, but allows much much more freedom to devs.

I just HATE how all of those super charged phones feel so unfinished...Android always feels like its off to a great start, but never gets finished.

He's crying about poor battery life and annoying bugs, you'd think of all people he would know its a beta.
He's trying to create drama, if he wanted to go to android he would he wouldn't give out a lame threat to do do over twitter.

wow. I'm still on lion. but i thought i was the only one who still used iTunes 10.7. i still use iOS 5, and older versions of 6 too...

I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER go above 10.7 :D

I love music and myself too much to do that.

I almost kept my iPad3 on 5.1.1 but then after making the leap updated it to 6.1.2 for fear of 3rd party tweaks and even app store apps being incompatible. But I think that's where it ends for that device.

iphone 5, remains to be seen. So far, not impressed with whats to come.

Let him go switch over to RIM BlackBerry 10 if he likes, he's not the first iOS user to go Andriod and he won't be the last person to join iOS... :D

Pod2g & iOS7 issue is like dating a girl, on your first date you discovered she is too much of virgin, hence, you are dumping her for Pro-prostitute
