Podcast app keeps reinstalling itself

I downloaded the Podcast app before Thanksgiving so that I could get new podcasts while I was away from my computer. I quickly began to loathe the UI and so I deleted it when I got home from both my phone and my computer. After two restarts of the phone my podcasts were back in the music app and all seemed well. A few days later I saw that the Podcast app had returned, even though I did not download it. I deleted it from both places, restarted the phone twice and all was well again. Now tonight, like some monster in a slasher movie, Podcasts is back. How can I kill this monster forever?
