iPod Podcast Question

How do i make certain episodes of podcasts kept only on my iTunes? I want to keep only a few eps because it takes up a lot of spcae(I have 40 or so eps of channel frederator that take up a gig of space) But i still want them kept on iTunes. I assumed this is what the boxes were for(that you can chjeck and uncheck) but that didnt work(what is that function anyway?)

Any help would be nice

u can keep all the episode through the preference of itunes, and manually delete the episode u don't want to keep?

No, heres my quexsstion

Lets say i have EPisode 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of a certain podcast

I like episode 2 and 4 a lot, and i dont want to put them all on there because i have a lot of space, but i want to keep them on iTunes. I tried unchecking all of them(What is this function anyway?) but it still kept them on..

How do i make it so some things stay on iTunes, but not on my iPod??

First off, make sure that when your iPod is plugged in, in the first screen you select "Only Sync checked items". That should solve the problem as all you have to do is keep checked the ones you want on the iPod in iTunes and they will sync.
