I'm getting an iPod for Xmas, and I'm interested in podcasting.
I understand the general principles; it's an mp3 enclosure in an RSS reed. Right. But what about content that doesn't come packaged that way, but only comes as text.
So here's my question. Is there a program out there that will take a text RSS feed, read it with OSX's text-to-speech software and make that into an mp3 file?
I work for a newspaper, and should read much of it before going into work each day. I'd like to be able to listen to some of the stories on my 45-minute drive to the office.
Any suggestions?
