I am having problems syncing my podcasts between OS X and iOS.
A bit of background. I used to have a different Apple ID and no iPhone. I used the old Apple ID on my MBP and added some podcasts through iTunes. When I bought my iPhone, I created a new Apple ID (my permanent one) and setup podcasts on my iPhone.
Now I've signed into my new Apple ID on my MBP and tried to sync the podcasts, but keep getting the same popup as below. Every time (doesn't matter if I click "Sync" or "Don't Sync", the message still appears next time. I am signed into my new Apple ID on both my MBP and iPhone.
When I click "Sync", the podcasts do get updated, but the ones that I've marked as played, do not get marked as played in iTunes. Therefore, my "All Unplayed" playlist on Podcasts (iOS) is a shorter length than my "Unplayed/My Episodes" in iTunes.
Firstly, How can I stop the popup from appearing? And secondly (more importantly), how can I get the unplayed episodes to sync with iTunes?
