Podcasts play at 2X speed thru iTunes?

I can't find the option in iTunes, and I've searched this in the forums and surprisingly, no one else has asked the question yet, but is it possible to play podcasts at 2X speed through iTunes, or is it only possible to do that on my touch? Thanks for any help.

From Apple’s own site:

Get caught speeding.
If you find you understand spoken audio content at a faster playback rate, it’s easy to speed things up. Just right-click or control-click your podcast episode and choose “Show song file.” From there:

Open the selected song file with Quicktime.
Choose “Show A/V Controls.”
Move the “Playback Speed” slider at the bottom of the window to your preferred speed.

Looks like it’s not built into iTunes. If you’re using Snow Leopard, you’ll need QuickTime Player 7, as QuickTime X doesn’t have the “Show A/V Controls” option.

Kinda weird that it’s not build in. Why not suggest it?
