Poetic hardback is perfect for me except that it doesn't lay flat when the cover is folded around behind. Its very slim and non-obtrusive but provides a stand and basic scratch protection when closed up.

Is there anything that's essentially identical but that will fold back flat?

Same complaint here. I'm using a Coolermaster Choiix Wake Folio but might pick up a Poetic Strapback.

I have the strapback too. It's a lot bulkier and it has a latch that protrudes when the front is folded back around which makes it rather annoying to lay in front of you or to hold in portrait mode.

I ordered the Devicewear Ridge. It looks very similar to the poetic hardback, except that it lays flat on the back. I'll post back when I get it (supposed to be here Saturday).
