Hey all...

I just wanted to let you guys know about a rather nice and cheap clear plastic shell I picked up recently. I already had an eBay TPU case, but I was looking for a clear shell for the back of the iPad 2 that offers complete coverage, instead of the gaping holes along the edges that many other shells have. This one snaps on securely and all the holes line up great. :D

Best of all, it's cheap. Well worth the $9.95 + free shipping.

I just bought an iPad and was looking for a temp snap-on case to tide me over while I research and look at all the various options. I chose this one solely because it was the cheapest smart cover compatible case that was in stock and that qualified for free Prime shipping on Amazon. I had low expectations to say the least.

Well I received the case this morning and, much to my surprise, the case appears to be well made with very good fitment all around. What I really like about it, however, is the color - most transparent (not frosted) gray cases that I've seen have been a somewhat warm smoke color whereas this one is a neutral to cool gray (you can check out the pics on Amazon which do a pretty good job of accurately showing the color: http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Smart-Shell-Partner-Slim-Fit/dp/B004ZZTSSG/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1308854729&sr=1-5).

I do wish it had a magnetic catch on the back like the Speck, but I'll probably tinker with it to see if I can jury rig something to do the same thing.
