I know this has been asked before. i've seen it. i just can't find it in search :(

question is.. when i open finder, there's the sidebar with all the icons
"picture, document, application, etc"

question: I want to click on Picture, and have it open up another folder, on a separate Harddrive. is this possible? if so how?
i tried "get info". i can only see the info, but not change.

thanks!

Drag the folder you want aliased in the sidebar to the sidebar, or, put an alias to that folder inside the pictures folder

To create an alias to your other pictures folder, just click once on the folder containing your pictures, then either press cmd-L or go to File>Make Alias. Then you can drag and drop the ailas into your Pictures folder that is listed in the sidebar.

Or, just drag the folder on the other drive into the sidebar and OS X will automatically create an alias to it in the sidebar. Hope that makes sense.
