Did anyone see last years World Championship? an unknown accountant from I believe Tennessee won the $2.5 million top prize. It is becoming "The" thing to do anymore. There is even a "Celebrity Poker" show on TV along with a lot of other tournaments all around the world. I personally play "Victoria's Poker" one of a very few on-line Poker games that work for Mac. If I could win a satellite tournament for a $10 buy-in and go on to even place in a tournament I would jump at the chance.
