ok, so i took my ipad out of the box, and have been using it for about 10 days. if i do a factory reset and take all of my media off of the ipad, will i be able to return it for a full refund? or was i not supposed to use it at all?

Depends...

You can return it within 14 days opened or not.

This...

But it depends on where you bought it. Apple has a 14 day return policy for all their products.

If you bought it at best buy it would be a 30 day (45 for silver member) return policy.

Any other store you would have to go with their return policy.

If you use the "Find iPhone" app, I would recommend doing a remote wipe and then remove the device from your list of iOS devices. Just to be safe.
