Polish iPhone?

I've seen a couple threads people mentioning small scratches and saying they could polish them out a bit - what type of polish would you use for something like that?

Forget about polishing. You would destroy the oleophobic coating and make is much worse.

Ahh fair enough! How come though they made such a big deal about the glass on the iPhone4..I already have a small hairline scratch on the back and one on the front - The 3GS I've had for a year didn't pick up one scratch on the front and I've never used a screen protector on it!

Any ideas?!
