Somehow my antenna band has light scratches. Anyone tried to polish them out? What did u use and did it work?

Any suggestions?

I noticed a small scratch on mine as well so I ordered invisible shield didn't like the feel and went with phantom skins ftw

You couldn't polish them out because it's not a shiny surface. You would just mess up the finish................and maybe remove the insulation that shields the antenna from your hands. :D

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

The band is bead blasted. You would have to disassemble the phone and send the band to someone who can do bead blasting. The alternative would be to polish the entire thing to a mirror finish, again best left to a professional.

You could use sandpaper and then buff it out. I've seen compounds for stainless. Odds are though it won't match the rest of the band and it will look weird.

The first scratch always hurts, but it's bound to happen.

Ha, the finish is supposed to hide any scratches, blemishes etc. A couple more scratches and you won't even see the first one. ;)
