If your Apple Studio Display, Apple Pro Display XDR, iMac, MacBook Pro or iPad Pro (M4) has a nano-texture display, follow these important guidelines to prevent damage when cleaning the screen.
It is essentially the same cloth provided with the XDR displays. For the most part, you don't need any liquid at all with the cloth. It was designed to clean the display as-is.
Dust is abrasive, so it's a best practice to blow off as much as you can before wiping.
Just water and a two white undershirts works wonders for me - one for the water, one to go back and dry it off.

This it it. I also use them to dust off other easily scratch displays made with soft plastic like dashboard and displays in car, home theater components etc. The trick is to wipe the surface very lightly and let the electrostatic work its magic. I also use them to clean computer keyboard. Of course you can use them on hardwood floor and furniture too.
Well I have a home distiller already so it's not much of an extra step.
But distilled water doesn't have any minerals or any ... anything really ... so there's no chance of something in the water damaging the screen.

Lol. I honestly use it mostly for drinking water and cooking. Having a free screen cleaner is just a bonus. I've spent so much ridiculous money on screen cleaners that I was rather annoyed to find that water was the best out of all of them.
