Not running too much on either device:

Springtomize 2
Cleanstatus
Winter board (Jaku on iPhone)
F.lux
Opennotifier
Activator
Ikeywi HD

I use activator to end bg processes with a double tap of the status bar. I can literally watch the % drop on my iPad. My iPhone drains VERY quickly as well. I've thought about go back to non-JB but with no JB for 6.1.3 I don't think trying it out is an option.

Try disabling your winterboard theme and see if you notice your battery life going back to normal

anyone else?

Boot up holding the volume up button. All your tweaks should be disabled. You can mimic a non-jailbroken device like this. If you are still getting battery drain while using your device in this state, it most likely isn't related to the jailbreak but the OS (bad install maybe) itself, a hardware problem, or something unrelated to jailbreak (like an app, iCloud, etc)

Opennotifier wasn't update to IOS 6, not sure if that matters but anything is possible.

Also, what settings are you using on Springtomize 2?

really just the carrier name and a few other simple tweaks like newsstand, etc. I have disabled it but dont think it's the culprit...

If I wanted to do a fresh install....back up device, make a note of which Cydia apps installed and ....? Wont I be forced to 6.1.3?

A fresh install will force you to update to 6.1.3.

It depends. What devices do you have and did you manually save your blobs?

I have the 6.1.2 install file but doubt that's what you are referring to. Once I disable by powering on with volume up button, then what?

Well, once you disable all your tweaks holding the volume up button while rebooting, just use it like normal and see if you still notice the battery drain

When you want to reenable your tweaks, just restart your device.
