Making this poll because there seems to be an issue where some people (Me included) have had the Walkie-Talkie app disappear when updating to Beta 3. It just isn't there anymore. Is the app there for you, and what region are you located in? I want to find a common pattern as to why it's only appearing for some people.

It's on my watch but not on my wife's watch (both Series 2's). Updated to beta 3 on both watches. My watch is the bigger one and hers is the smaller one. Paired iPhones are all on iOS 12 latest beta 3.

The app does show in the list in the Apple Watch app for iOS on her phone. Just that it says no contacts available with no edit option while I can edit the contact list on mine.

The Apple Watch app shows it in its app list but it isn’t installed and gives you no ability to reinstall it.

Sounds like an Apple bug. Make sure to report it... Saw similar problem with developer apps in the past, but don’t think there was anything we could do.

Walkie-talkie uses facetime audio. Maybe signing out and back in on the iPhone could bring it back.

I got walkie talkie back. It requires you have the redundant FaceTime app installed on your phone. It still won’t function because of the contact bug but it is back.

Oh, cool. It’s probably a bug. I guess they meant to check if FaceTime was enabled and accidentally wrote it as a check for if FaceTime was installed?

I really can not wait for the contacts bug to be fixed, damn. Hardest 2 weeks of my life

Edit: If you get someone to Walkie-Talkie you first and then accept it you can add them that way.
