I am likely to upgrade to the 13 Pro Max, but functionally the 11 Pro/Pro Max remains very similar to the 13 (including both have better battery life than the 12). I also likely my phone color (Midnight Green) and the camera bump look a bit more on the 11. May end up keeping. Curious as to what others did.

I upgraded from the same phone you have, the Midnight Green 11 Pro Max. Got the 13 Pro Max - once you've gone Max its hard to go back. Wireless charging and 5G were the salient points for me. Plus I like the square edges, but that alone wasn't enough for me to go from the 11PM to the 12PM. At the time the 12 was released there was almost no 5G in my area, but now its everywhere with Verizon.
I wasn't necessarily due for an upgrade from my 11 Pro but after almost 2 years of diligent use, the screen did manifest some serious scratches, so I sold it and moved to the 13 Pro
