Reading the forums while lounging with my iPad is my favorite, but if I feel like replying I've always moved to a MacBook, or now my Mac desktop.

I didn't find a similar poll while searching the forum, so maybe that's because it's not that compelling? Or maybe I'm just nosy and want to know how people are using the forum.

I use my MBP for everything internet related unless it's banking apps or other apps while I am away from home. I have a 12.9" 2018 iPad Pro that I really don't use.

It's the main use of my MBP.

MBP for reading/posting. Came to a point where I didn't like using Tapatalk on the iPhone all that much anymore for whatever reason. Don't think it has to do with the keyboard responsiveness because I otherwise write stuff in Drafts everyday.

I'm mostly at my desktop. So, I read and post from my desktop. Sometimes on on a laptop and use that. But not much. With my phone it's mostly just reading. If I can do a quick reply. Then I may post from the phone. Otherwise it's just too slow to type on a phone.

I only really see this forum through Tapatalk on iPhone and iPad. I got questioned recently about my signature as it was about 5 years out of date and it was the first time in years I viewed this forum on an internet browser. I changed it.

I just prefer the basic Tapatalk view rather than the actual website.

I wasn't aware that the forums were available through other sites. Hope this doesn't sound sanctimonious, but Mac Rumors is one the VERY few sites I visit using Mac Safari with no ad blockers, figuring they can benefit from the ad revenue.

There’s 5 or 6 forums that I visit that are Tapatalk compatible and it’s nicer to be able to access them from an app rather than using a browser for me.

Ninety-nine percent of the time I read/post with an iPad. On very rare occasions I use an iPhone.

Still only 32 respondents, but interesting to see that nearly half prefer use a desktop for interacting with MacRumours, and probably many other activities as well. It suggests that desktops are far from dead......

I guess more laptops, tablets, and smartphones because people tend to get new ones more frequently, but folks hang on to their desktops for much longer.

To read it’s usually from my phone, but if I wanted more in depth reading and to respond while hanging it’s always from my iPad Pro 10.5 or iMac.
