iPod POLL: Which iPod model do you use the most?

I am surprised to say that I almost always use my shuffle despite having a G5.5 Video iPod.

I'm in the exact same boat as OP. I have a 30GB 5G, but listen to my 1G Shuffle more. It only takes me a minute to swap songs and make a playlist, then I can turn it on and forget about it. The tactile controls are also easier for when I'm driving, exercising, etc. And I think I like the sound a little better (although they're pretty close.)

But it obviously can't replace a full-sized iPod.

You forgot the Mini.

And I use my Video more than any other. My 3G is connected to the bedroom speakers and my wife generally leaves her 4G in our home office.

I was just trying to figure out how I could add the Mini as you wrote this. I don't see any way to modify the poll though I am reasonably certain that the Mini won't be one of the highest rated even though it was much beloved by many. Anyway, sorry about that you Mini lovers. Mea culpa.

It's the only one I have so it's the only one I use, though my phone's music player works and it's decent, if I remember the headset.

since my iphone is with me all the time, it wins this one for me. but my nano is a close second since it's hooked up to my car stereo and it's all i listen to every time i'm in the car...

1st gen nano. but only because i use it at the gym daily. i use my 3rd gen mostly when i travel (i.e., in the car, on an airplane).

Nooooo, but it's a 4th generation iPod. The iPod photo came out months after the original monochrome iPods, a couple of months after I bought mine.

The iPod video. But, I'm using the Nano more and more. If a Nano came with bigger storage I would stop using the larger iPod altogether. I rarely make use of the video capabilities or viewing photos on it. The smaller nano is just fine if you don't need either of those capabilities.

I use my trusty old green iPod mini 4GB the most mainly because I have no use for iPods and its the only one I have .

I only have a 1G Shuffle but if I had one with a screen I think I'd use the Shuffle more. I mainly use it when I'm running, or doing homework when I don't have a song preference.
