The press is invited to the flagship store at the hour it opens ... 10am. There is no shortage of iPhone globally as was expected at launch. 02 is ready to go with EDGE upgraded within the past month.

So what do you guys think?

I think that all signs point to iPhones available at the Apple Store on Regent Street on September 18th with the www.apple.com/ukstore down at 9:59am local time and back up around 10:30 or 11 with iPhones for sale and "shipping now."

I think it is going to launch on the 18th. They wont release the Touch before the iPhone, its a stupid business move. Plus O2 recently upgrading to EDGE only confirms all the O2 + iPhone in the UK rumors.

But didn't Steve say that the iPod Touch would be the first touch interface device outside the US, implying that the iPhone would ship AFTER the iPod Touch?

I think he's asking whether people think the iPhone will go on sale in the UK on the 18th or not, like it says in the thread title....
