Purchased a New Unlocked iPhone SE 2nd gen in June 2020 for my father to use on Sprint. Ever since, there has been poor cell connectivity. Audio cuts out, dropped calls, if someone calls him, he can't hear them, but they can hear him. Usually works on the 3rd call back. The spinning LTE thing at the top of the screen is usually always spinning (pictured below).

We have called Sprint and reset the phone settings and network settings. Apple store for a diagnostic check, came back OK. Got a new SIM card and activated it, reset network settings, etc. Talked to a total of 3 people at Apple support. Restored the phone to factory settings, fresh install of iOS. Last week, we went to Apple store and got a replacement phone, started fresh on iOS. And it is still happening.

Any ideas or insight is appreciated.
