I ordered two sticks of memory from OWC to max out an old Mac: one full sized DIMM and one small SODIMM.
OWC instead sent two (used!) DIMM sticks. One is labeled with their part number for a SODIMM but the stick is clearly not a SO-DIMM.
Despite providing multiple photos, OWC support repeatedly insists they sent the right item and does not address the fact they are used. It seems they are not thoroughly reading my emails or sufficiently knowledgeable about memory.
I always believed OWC was a very reliable and knowledgeable source for Mac upgrades so I was pretty surprised by this.
Update: I called them by phone and they say they will look into it and get back to me.
