I have installed Firefox 1.0 Preview, and the fonts for the article summaries on slashdot.org look *horrible*. I've tried other fonts/sizes, but it always looks very jaggy. Is there some special setting I need to use? Slashdot.org looks good in Safari.

I'm on OS 10.3/PowerBook G4 12".

The cause might not be in Firefox. Try going into System Preferences, Click Appearance, and play around with the font smoothing settings.

unlikely, he stated safari looked fine.. if you mess with the font smoothing that's system wide..
