The internet on my mother's macbook seems to be unusually slow. She complains that various websites can take a long time to load (bad on Google Chrome and even worse on Safari) and she's determined that she's got a virus.

I took a look at it today and did a speed test and the results were average for what we usually get. However webpages do take a significant longer amount of time on both Google Chrome and Safari than they do on my own Macbook.

She's been complaining about it since the Safari 5.0 update, I was wondering if it could be to do with WebKit and that something went wrong during the install.
