Hey there,

I am experiencing an extremely Poor Battery life after upgrading to macOS Sierra. I am using rMBP 2014 iGPU version. The power usage is always above 20 Watts even when the machine is idle (no apps running). It used to be at 7 Watts when in El Capitan.

On Netflix or iTunes, Power usage goes to around 27 Watts and it used to be around 15 Watts in El Capitan.

As a result of it, the laptop heats up all the time.

I used to get around 7-8 hours of battery life easily. But now I'm getting just over 3.5 hours of battery life. Thats horrible. My battery capacity stands at 8300 mAh.

I've lost around 40 battery cycles after updating to Sierra. I could spend these 40 battery cycles for around 6 months had I been on El Capitan.

Please help!!
