Hi all,

Just installed Tiger on both my DP2.0 G5 and my Mac Mini. Everything running great and fast on the DP, but Safari is slow on the Mini. I did erase and installs on both.

Firefox runs fast on the Mini. I'm not sure if there is some setting that I need to adjust or what, but it is noticeably slower than it was under Panther. Not the actual page load, but the time it takes a page to start loading.

Any ideas?

Overall performance on the Mini is fine. Just Safari that is pokey.

Thanks.

Hi,

Have you tried cleaning the safari caches? Under Safari menu there is an option "reset safari". You will loose your cookies and your form fill entries, but it helped for me. Safari 2 is incredibly fast on my powerbook...

Tried that. No luck. It's not SLOW, but definately not as snappy as it was with Panther. There must be a problem because everyone else says it is faster under Tiger.

It is blazingly fast on my G5!
