Poor Safari Performance on rMBP?

Anyone else noticing some hiccups on Safari?

Netflix is incredibly choppy when not in full screen mode. MacRumors takes 2 minutes to load on Safari and has some formatting issues when it finally does. Never experienced these issues on my MBA.


And both Netflix and MR are buttery smooth on Chrome.

Only on content heavy websites like FB. The rest are buttery smooth (Base Unit rMBP) and when I change to Optimized for Retina its smoother though not much space like the scaled version.
