Just downloade a couple of albums, ragged and nasty rasp.

Okay no biggie . Anyone else noticed this?

Same, ugly rasp....Anyone else noticed this? It's really obvious too. Audio codec? Wasn't one in the recent spate of updates.

Emailed itunes. Normally crystal clear sound from downloaded music. May have to buy the CD's unless they fix this.

Located the issue

One of the bands I work with (more specifically one bassist) Jacked up the pre-amp in iTunes to max.

Just an EQ re-set sorted things out.

Weird thing is it only did it on the new stuff. All good now.

Hiya,ive also got this problem and its only been from last update !!
Its not only the imported cd's it's every track,i thought id find the music bought from itunes would be ok but sadly not.
PLEASE HELP !

Good to know the EQ was all that needed to be fixed.

That said, I buy CDs anyways.

I find CDs are cheaper especially if there is 2-3 songs you want in the album and you buy the CD used.
