Poor voice quality

Hello All-

Recently I have been experiencing poor voice quality with my Iphone 3G with 2.2 firmware. I have all bars on the device and have reset the phone, turned Airplane mode off and on, and reset the network connections.

Any ideas?

bad sim card...same ting happened with my girlfriend and i. full bars. sound quality was very very choppy and would drop calls like no other...went to apple, they said i need a new sim, and i went to att and got a new one. they wont charge you. all your numbers are saved on the phone. so theyll put it in and youll be good to go

Does sound like the sim. You could just try taking it out an putting it back in and see if that helps.
