POP 3 Server Doesn't Work!!!

I use the Apple Mail app and have had no problems with it before. Recently, I updated to Snow Leopard and my mail app somehow changed my gmail account from POP to IMAP. I prefer POP, but cannot get it to work again. I also have a laptop running SL and uses the same address and still works with POP.

Any help helps! Thanks!
