Pop/crackle on right speaker on 2017 when plugging in machine? (blown speaker?) — sounds muffled...

I remember hearing about blown speakers last year...

The right speaker on my machine just made a pop/crackle sound when I plugged the machine in, instead of the usual charge sound. It was really loud.

Now the right speaker sounds pretty flat. Is this the same thing other people were running into?
