I have been using Chrome for sometime, but recently this weird thing happened. Everytime I click a link or try to post anything, a pop up appears on the next tab. Even when I have to open a new tab, the pop up appears. This is ridiculous. I am not ready to install any addons or anything of chrome, rather is there any way I can stop completely.

Well you can uninstall chrome. Then if I was you I'd stop using it, it is huge resource hog on macs hammmers the battery and the CPU due to particularky poorly optimised coding.

If you still want to use it just reinstall it.
