Pop-Up Password Requests

Every once in a while–there doesn't seem to be a distinguishable pattern–a pop-up box as king for my password appears when I am using my iphone5. If tap "Cancel," the box disappears. Is there anyway that I can disable this in Settings?

Yes, but I have also been having trouble with Apple and iphone passwords lately. No matter how often I change passwords, they are always designated as wrong. I haven't done anything about this because if I tap "Cancel" in the pop-up box it disappears. I only wish I could get rid of that pop-up box.
